A paper petition to the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly.
The ask
Should the House vote on the final Churchill Falls and Gull Island deals before they're signed? This petition asks for one thing: a recorded vote. It doesn't ask you to be for or against the deal. People on every side can sign it.
The petition says:
We, the undersigned, call upon the House of Assembly to hold a recorded vote to approve or reject the final Churchill Falls and Gull Island Definitive Agreements between Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, Hydro-Québec and CF(L)Co before they are signed.

Paper only. Only original, handwritten signatures on paper sheets count. Online signatures do not count, and this site does not collect signatures. If the petition is presented in the House, signers' names and addresses will be available to the public.
The first batch is planned for before the House rises this fall, and the rest early in the spring sitting.
